'Scapes in the News!

Our newly-hung landscape show has been popping up all over newspapers, radio segments and local websites! Here's a sample of our latest press clippings:

"For some more art depicting the natural world there’s ‘Scapes at The Art League Gallery in Alexandria through September 5th. The annual landscape portraiture show runs the gamut from cityscapes to rural scenes depicted in paintings, drawings, prints and sculpture."

"The Art League Gallery , a nonprofit arts organization in Alexandria, will open their annual landscape exhibit “ ‘Scapes ” on Aug. 3. The show depicts different interpretations of scenery that have influenced the artist, and is the Gallery’s most popular. The submissions run the gamut from city to sea landscapes, and have been captured within all forms of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture."

"The Art League Gallery's annual landscapes exhibit is curated by Sarah Tanguy and includes scenes of every environment, including the industrialized and urban."

"The Art League Gallery hosts the reception for ‘Scapes, and visitors can view work from this summer’s Visiting Artist Program at the reception for Synergy."
